Animal-Free Nanobody Generation of High-Affinity Binders Against Protein Targets
Our B-Yeast technology harnesses the power of the baker’s yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae genetics, combining the preparation of nanobody libraries and their functional selection in a single step.
No Animal Immunisation Needed
The detection of intracellular interactions between nanobodies and antigens is based on the principles of the yeast two-hybrid system. Our proprietary yeast strain enables more accurate detection between protein molecules in intracellular conditions compared to methods that detect interactions under less biologically relevant conditions. It also allows us to circumvent the use of animal immunisation in nanobody generation, reducing the cost of the final product.
Nanobody Library
Our synthetic nanobody library, with a size on the order of 1018, provides diversity in the CDR regions informed by natural variability and structural constraints. We have validated our approach by selecting nanobodies from this library against numerous structurally and functionally diverse targets.

Modifications
After selection, nanobodies can be further engineered with various custom-tailored modifications, enabling extended applications and resulting in versatile, assay-ready reagents through site-specific coupling of functional payloads and formats. We offer a wide range of nanobody modifications tailored to your use case.
